As Rossette Coffee describes it.
Balanced. Some sweetness, some body. Good black or with milk.
Clean and clear taste.
Trip to Alba takes its name from the town in northern Italy that's famous for its hazelnuts, and this blend is our way of getting you there. We combined three washed coffees, two from Karnataka and one from Tamil Nadu, and profile-roasted them to a medium. The result is nutty and chocolatey: hazelnut praline up front, then chocolate fudge and toffee. Acidity is low and the body is full, and while the sweetness reads as medium in a filter cup, it turns properly sweet as espresso. That's where this blend is at its best, as a straight shot or under steamed milk in a cappuccino or latte. It's a comfort coffee, the one you reach for when you want something familiar done really well.
